You can get the Kindle or Nook apps to use if you have a phone or tablet and want it in e-version :)

The third was yesterday, has anyone had a chance to read the first chapter? I forgot. I will try and read it today or tomorrow and share my thoughts once I have.

I read it all when we first decided and I can't remember any of it. Doing it again today. Ha.

EEK! DH and I joined a Bible study a couple weeks ago, and I forgot all about this :(

Lol. Glad I'm not the only one who forgot! Actually, I just lost track of time. My boss says it's a symptom of getting old: time goes by much faster.

I'll get on it. :)

I finished the introduction and the first chapter today. I've made several notes already. I think I'm going to like the book a lot. There's so much about David that's all right there in the scripture, but I never realized until I had it pointed out to me.

Two things that stood out to me so far:

1) She emphasized a couple of times how man pays attention to outward appearance, but God is concerned with the heart. That resonates in me for many reasons.

2) Jesse (David's father) means "man" in Hebrew so David was the "son of Man". Nice correlation :)
