I've been asked to do a craft session with our 'old people club'

I've only got 45 minutes and I have NO idea what to do with them!

Any ideas???

This isn't a craft, but it was a ton of fun. We used to take karaoke to the nursing home and get set up with old standards that the elderly folks would know, and old hymns, etc. We printed out lyrics in big type for those who couldn't see the screen, and we did sing-alongs with them. They really loved it and all had big smiles on their faces. Music just does so much to lift hearts :)

When my mom was in an Alzheimer's facility, they used sturdy foam molds and used them to make Christmas decorations. They were in the shapes of angels or stars or trees, and the residents painted them, sometimes added a personal touch if they were able to, like their initials or a "Merry Christmas" message, and then put a hoop in the top so they could be hung. My mom made one that looks like a 4 year old decorated it, but we love it and put it up on our tree every year. :)

Painting pots?

I like Mina's idea of painting...so I'm going off of that.

Painting pots?
Yes! And let them paint John3:16 on them. Or their favorite verse.
This way they can use the pots for various reasons, even to hold their eye glasses which some of us misplace them on a daily basis.
